Among the Hidden

Among the Hidden, a 153 page by Margret Peterson Haddix is about a futuristic world were you can only have two children. The main character, Luke, is a shodow child (or third child) and meets a girl named Jen who is also a shadow child. He learns about a protest that the shodow children are having at the White House and how Jen is going to it. He sees the danger in it and warns Jen, but she doesnt listen to him and leaves for Washington D.C. What will happen to her? Find out by reading this amazing book. I would rcommend this book to everyone.

One False Note

One False Note, a 174 page book by Gordon Korman is about how Amy and Dan continue their journey to find the 39 clues. The music that they found lead them to Mozart's home town and into a dark cave. In the cave, all of the lights go out and boulders fall and block their path! Will they be able to escape and find the 39 clues? Find out by reading this awesome book and its sequels. I would reccomend this book to everyone (who has read the first book.)

The Maze of Bones

In The Maze of Bones, a 220 page book by Rick Riordan, two kids, Amy and Dan, go to their grandmother's funeral and get invited to the reading of the will. It turns out that their family, the Cahills, are the most powerful family in history and their grandmother (and past Cahills) have set up a "scavenger hunt" consisting of 39clues. They recieve the first clue and go to look at their grandmother's library. They found a secret chamber and once inside found the book that they were looking for. Unfortunately, there is a fire and on the way out they lose the book! When they are out they see a man in a black suit and feel that he caused the fire that burt down their rich grandmother's mansion. Will they solve the mystery of the 39 clues? Find out by reading this amazing book and all of it's sequels. I would recomend this book to anyone who likes to read.

Treasure Island

Treasure Island is a 341 page book by robert Louis Stevenson about a boy named Jim Hawkins that recovers a treasure map from  a pirate named Billy Bones. He gathers a crew and sails to the iisland that its on. Then one of Jim's freinds turns out to be a blood-thirsty pirate captain! Find out who it is by reading this thrilling novel of piracy, treasure, and battles. I would recommend this amazing classic to everyone.

The Fellowship of the Ring

The Fellowship of the Ring, a 458 page book by J.R.R. Tolkien, is an exiting adventure about a hobbit named Frodo Baggins who finds himself running from the evil forcesw of Mordor. He has a ring. Not just any ring, but the ring. Frodo's uncle Bilbo Baggin's has left the shire and left him a ring. This ring turns out to be the One Ring, forged by the dark lord Sauron in Mount Doom. Sauron has nine Ringwraiths under his power that search for the One Ring. Frodo finds himself running from these dark riders as he trys to get to Rivendale where the ring will be safe. Once he arrives he finds himself sucked into a whole new adventure, destroying the ring in Mount Doom. There is only one problem, Mount Doom is in the middle of the treacherous land of Mordor! A group of was formed called the Fellowship of the Ring to escort Frodo and the ring to Mount Doom so the ring can be destroyed. Read the Lord of the Rings series to see what happens next. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Milkweed

Milkweed is a 208 page book by Jerry Spinelli about a boy who steals food on the streets. This book was based during the Holocaust and part-way through the book, the boy, Misha, is thrown into a ghetto. He finds the family of his friend, Janina, and her family takes him in as their son. Does Misha escape the ghetto, or is he swept away on a train of death. Read the book to find out. I would recommend this book to everyone.
