Devil's Arithmetic Response

Hannah changed a lot throughout Devil's Arithmetic. At first she was just a regular rebellious teen. Then she went on a huge journey through the past in a concentration camp. She saw all of the awful things that the Nazis did to the Jews during the Holocaust. She began to realize why it was such a big deal that some of her family members have survived this horrible event. It changed her and made her a more thoughtful and caring person. That is how Hannah has changed during Devil's Arithmetic.

Magnasia

This is the Magnasian Galaxy

Now that you have learned a bout Tanzia, Gladitorian, and Edtrognia it is time to know about the plant that I rule. It is called Magnasia and as Tanner already stated it has nothing to do with my name, but of the history.
Magnasia didn't exist when it's history started when two planets were at war. The largest planet ruled by Queen Zia was at war with a slightly smaller planet ruled by King Magna. Magna and Zia organized a secrecy meeting for a peace treaty that would settle the ongoing war between them. Once Magna's most trusted general, Grayshion, found out he was okay with it, but when Zia's most trusted general, Zark, found out he hated Zia. Zark told the whole planet and the enemy planet to revolt against Magna and Zia so the two armies joined forces and attacked the two rulers. The two planets had been on a collision course for years and now were about to collide. The only people that stood by Magna and Zia were killed exept for Grayshion who escaped as the planets collided. When they were colliding the planets curved around the friends Magna and Zia as they died from poison that Zark had poured into their drinks. As they died they swore to protect anyone who did good.
They did. One day me and twelve others were exploring when we stumbled down a hole that led to the core of the planet which was hollow with a fragile crystal in the middle. There was writing on the walls to find a man named Grayshion and overthrow the king Zark and that Magna and Zia wouldtake over the rest. As we were outnumbered a million to one Grayshion killed Zark and volcanoes sprouted from the ground. The volcanoes started erupting and buried the enemy soldiers in the lava. Everyone who was innocent was spared and the lava curved around me and the twelve. We built up the world to what it is today. I am known as King Magna after the great king. Now Magnasia is a city of peace and prosper. Magnasia is part of the GTMEU which includes Tanzia, Gladitorian, and Edtrognia.

Your Friend,
King Magna

Macbeth

Everyone is talking about a modern day Macbeth scene. It is about three nurses (witches) chanting double double toil and trouble. Sounds so cool! Can't wait to see it.

The Lost Hero

The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan is 553 pages long. It is about a boy named Jason who wakes to find himself on a bus headed to the Grand Canyon with no memory at all. When he and two friends, Leo and Piper, find out that they are demigods, they go on a crazy quest to save the goddess Hera who was captured by a mysterious villian. This book has epic twists and turns to the unexpected, action packed world of Greek Mythology. I would recommend this book to anyone who loved the Percy Jackson books.
